Scenario is complete

The story and scenario of the digital comic are complete. I am not a great writer, but I think it’s a funny story. The story is made for children, but adults will like it as well. Let’s start drawing !

Digital comic

For my final year graphic design at KASK ( Ghent ) I’ll be making a digital comic for the Ipad / IPhone. With this comic I want to make full use of the canvas. There are many digital comics, but none of them uses the complete canvas of the tablet. So I’ll be making a comic specifically for a tablet computer, that entirely uses the canvas and the other functions of the device. Now I’m working on the story and the scenario of the comic.

Rumble T-Shirts

I made my own Rumble T-Shirts ! They are made with a technique called Screen printing or serigraphy. Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mash to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink as a sharp-edged image onto a substance. A roller is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas.

I made several T-Shirts in different colors. It took me a whole day to make 5 shirts. It’s not an easy job !

Website online

Finally my website is online ! It took me a long time to work my idea out. But I’m glad it’s finally finished. The website works with a CMS system, so I can easily add new work on my website. This wasn’t easy to build… I have tested all the browsers that you can see in the image above and it should work on all browsers.

Rumble dolls

I wanted to know how my Rumble character would look like in real life, so I made two Rumble dolls. The dolls are 16 x 16 cm big and filled up with wool. It took me a whole day to make them, but they look gorgeous don’t they ?
